Title: Hexbee

Material: White earthenware, white calcite on the base.

Dimensions: 116 x 111 x 30 cm

Symbolism: Several hexagons are arranged along two walls, with a few others connecting them. Voids and solids constitute this sculpture. The hexagons between the two walls are solid.

To securely fix these two vertical sections. - On the ground, there is a white calcite imprint of the front wall. This sculpture is a reference to bees building their homes with remarkable economy of space. It is called the TRIPLE JUNCTION. This sculpture was a finalist at the National Ceramics Biennial in 1994. It has been exhibited in Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City.
