The rain

Title: The Rain

Material: Stainless steel, sink chains sold by the meter, hardened steel balls

Dimensions: 240 x 210 x 120 cm (adaptable to 9-10 ft.)

Symbolism: This artwork consists of a celestial vault and a terrestrial vault. Between these two vaults, 361 sink chains represent frozen raindrops. On the ground, a regularly perforated triangular plate holds hardened steel balls. This sculpture speaks of the preciousness of water. The metals on the ground represent the subsoil.
