Title: THE CROSSING OF THE AGES

Material: White earthenware and grey-slipped earthenware (for the bridge). Copper wires

Dimensions: 120 x 90 x 30 cm

Symbolism: This installation sculpture consists of a bridge. On one side of the bridge, letters and hands are directed towards it. There are footprints on the bridge. On the other side of the bridge, a hemisphere made of copper wire is also supported by hands. - Humans have built throughout history.

The words pointing towards the bridge are: MIDDLE AGES – RENAISSANCE – INDUSTRIALIZATION – MODERNISM – GENETICS. Working hands accompany these words.

It's because, throughout the ages, humans have built bridges between themselves, neighbors, colleagues, nations, countries, the planet, etc... And doesn't the observer also build a bridge with their fellow human being?
